Today was our first opportunity to visit Lagoon with our brand spanking new season passes. Julie really wanted to get passes this year and of course I was pretty up for it. It was part of Christmas for the family and Julie paid for the rest out of her funds.

The rain expected for all of Saturday was of monsoonal proportions. However, we got there just before opening time and enjoyed about an hour of very light sprinkles before the rain really got started.

We rode the fire dragon multiple times, wicked multiple times, the swings (when the rain really started coming down), the tidal wave, the bat, and the girls rode the dancing dragon.

After two hours we were soaked and he headed for home grateful that we escaped from the house. It has been a long week of crazy schedules, canceled play dates, lonely madeleine, frazzled Julie (due to kids being home and their increasing emotional needs), busy work schedules for both of us, and home improvement in the kitchen.
