Me and my daytrips…this time to Wasatch Mountain State Park in Midway. What a lovely place! I bet it’s even more beautiful in any of the actual beautiful times of year, rather than the blah time of November. Nevertheless, we went on the very last nice day of the year and it was very pleasant.

All kids just looooooove to throw rocks in water and ours are no exception.

Up the road from the pond was an old homestead set among magnificent scenery.

We will definitely be back to picnic when summer comes.

After playing we went to Zermatt Resort for a treat in their pastry shop. The kids each chose a gelato, Rob chose his usual fruit tart, and I my usual éclair. Good times!! I REALLY love my family and REALLY love exploring new places with them.
