A couple of Saturdays ago Rob and I got on a crafty kick. He’s been wanting to make this for Nate for a while.
Since Nate got something fun to play with, I decided to paint these nesting dolls for Madeleine.
These toys are super cute and I’d love to say that the kids play with them all the time. But, as it turns out, it took longer for us to make these than it took the kids to get bored with them. Oh, well.
While the paint was drying on the dolls, I put this together for our bedroom.
And anyone have any ideas for what I can do with 4 square carpet samples? They’re from Pottery Barn and super cute so I hate to just throw them out but I can’t think of what to do with them.
Julie, about the carpets, it depends how big they are and if they have heavy backing or none. I have two pieces like that(no backing) and used them by the bed. Later I used them to cover my sewing machine. If they have heavy
backing you almost have to use them for carpet. Maybe you have a spot that is not used too much so you can enjoy
them longer. (Isn't life exciting?) Love, Maria.
Cute crafts! Dont htrow the pottery barn samples out. Frame them, or use them for time out, or just nail them to the wall. There are lots to fo with them!
I love doing crafts like this! I just made paper mache ornaments for our Christmas tree. I thought it was going to be a fun activity for Everett & I to do together. He participated for about 4 min. But i really enjoyed it! I'll have to show you.
