I’m sick, so this is going to be short. But I wanted to write a little because today marks one year since my brother passed away from intraocular (eye) melanoma. My family went to Leatherby’s, his favorite ice cream spot, to commemorate but I was too sick to attend.

It’s still hard to believe that it happened. It’s been a pretty emotional year for the whole family. I’m in the process of writing down every memory I have of him so that I can remember him as much as possible. It’s sad, but I find it therapeutic.

We really miss you, Brian, and think about you all the time. How about being an angel on the field for the BYU vs. Utah game again?? You did it last year!
