Puerto Rico the Beautiful

I (Rob) know our blog has been full of photos and stories of trips lately. Obviously our life is a lot more normal that it might seem from this blog. After this post I’ll write more about a variety of normal activities around the house. But at least for today you are getting one more post of travel photos I recently finished editing. I made these photos one year ago during a family trip to sunny Puerto Rico. As always you can click on the photos to see a much larger version.

We’ll start our photo trek in the El Yunque Rainforest not far from San Juan. It takes a lot of work to keep the jungle at bay as it tries to swallow this old pool. Below is a photo I made while walking along a old jungle trail of air plants growing on the trees. We also counted an incredible number of spiders and webs just off the trail. Yikes!

Bano Grande was taken in the El Yunqune Rainforest in Puerto Rico on February 2nd 2019 and was taken with my Fujifilm X-T10 using my XF18-55mm F2.8-4 Lens at 1/1500s, f/3.2, and ISO 200. Minimal editing was done in Lightroom to recover some highlights and shadows.
