So how cool is this elephant? When the circus came to town I took Nate and Madeleine to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey parade down the street in the middle of Gateway Mall. It was short, but so much fun! We were really close to the big elephants and Nathan just loved it.

With this shot, I turned the exposure all the way up and masked out some background noise. Then I turned up the clarity to bring out the texture in this elephant’s skin.
Every time I look at this picture I’m drawn to her (or his) eye. Is she smiling? Does she enjoy making all the little children happy? I’d like to think so.
