Thanks Rob! I appreciate the info. I’ll have to check them out.
Thanks for all your nice comments. I really enjoy photography and sharing it with you all makes it so much fun! >>Shannon, after 20 minutes with me to show you some of lightroom’s features I know that you’ll come over to the good side!>>Emily, we shoot with a Nikon D40 and the kit lens that comes with it. This is pretty much the entry level set up (but still a very good camera) and we get very good results from it. We also purchased a nice speedlight (the SB-600) which is a must for indoor photography. I’m saving for the new Nikon AFS 50mm f/1.4 lens that comes out in December but that may have to wait until next year. >>There is just too much to say about our gear in a comment so I think I’ll write a large post about how I feel about this camera as far as advantages and disadvantages go. Bottom line, we love it and it does a great job for our current needs. It is also a little smaller than other SLR’s so it fits well in Julie’s hands.
Wow!!! You really do take gorgeous pictures!!! I love the one of the temple too. So we are thinking about getting a nice camera & lens and I was wondering what kind you have???
Rob,you have such an eye for photography! And not only that, you are a great writer. I sure appreciate the time and talent that you share with us.
Rob, still don’t know anything about photography but I like your sidelines. They are always>interesting to me. The photo is very striking. It would make a nice oil painting if someone>could paint.
I love the colors in this. I love the thoughts you added too! You have such a talent for photography! One of these days I should have you show me some of your tricks in Lightroom…I don’t know that it will ever replace PS3, but you have some awesome tricks!
